People Watching

  1. I woke up with a surrounded reek of anesthetic. My mouth was laminated with a feeling of being numb from the result of treatment. The rows of beds seemed like a never ending reflection of many people in one continuous line with an almost blank look on their faces. It explained it all. Even after i rubbed my eyes to ensure the sight i was seeing was a true image, i could still see the pain in everyone’s eyes through my agonizing distorted eyes from the pain i had been put through several hours before. I did the typical routine of taking Tramadol and sleeping to reduce the discomfort. There was only one last resort to reduce the desperation of the suffering and that was … Pethadine.
